【国际体育新闻 记者赵雪湄】在达卡举行的2024“酷-BSPA体育奖”颁奖典礼上，孟加拉国板球全能手梅赫迪·哈桑·米拉兹荣获“年度最佳运动员”，女子足球明星里图·波尔纳·查克玛凭借球迷投票拿下人气奖。
米拉兹击败了成功晋级巴黎奥运的射箭选手萨戈尔·伊斯兰及查克玛，成为年度之星。而查克玛则凭在南亚锦标赛中的突出表现赢得民心，超过米拉兹与新星快投手纳希德·拉纳。
由于身在不丹参赛，查克玛通过视频致谢：“这个奖对我意义重大，会激励我不断进步。”米拉兹表示，BSPA搭建了跨项目交流的平台，“这对所有运动员都是一种鼓舞。”
此次盛典由孟加拉国体育新闻协会主办，青年与体育顾问布永等嘉宾出席。除颁奖外，活动还融合了歌曲与舞蹈表演，由现役与退役运动员献艺，为现场增添光彩。

Mehidy Hasan Miraz Named Bangladesh Sportsperson of the Year, Ritu Porna Chakma Wins Hearts with Popular Choice Award
At the 2024 Kool-BSPA Sports Awards held in Dhaka, Bangladesh cricket all-rounder Mehidy Hasan Miraz was crowned Sportsperson of the Year, while women’s football star Ritu Porna Chakma won the Popular Choice Award through fan voting.
Miraz beat out Olympic-qualified archer Sagor Islam and Chakma to take the top honour. Chakma, however, captured the public’s admiration for her key role in Bangladesh’s South Asian Championship victory, edging out Miraz and rising fast bowler Nahid Rana in the popular vote.
Currently playing in Bhutan, Chakma accepted her award via video message, saying, “This award means a lot to me and will inspire me to keep improving.” Miraz praised BSPA for creating a space that connects athletes across different sports, calling it “a great source of motivation for all of us.”
Organised by the Bangladesh Sports Press Association, the ceremony was attended by sports adviser Asif Mahmud Shojib Bhuiyan and other guests. Alongside the awards, the event featured musical and dance performances by current and former athletes, adding a vibrant touch to the evening.
