In the latest round of Premier League games Burnley and Everton played out a 1-1 draw. Manchester City were too good for Fulham winning by 2-0 whilst Manchester United came from behind to defeat West Ham United by 3-1. Chelsea defeated Leeds United by 3-1 too.
Sunday’s games saw West Bromwich Albion reduced to 10 men and despite grabbing an equaliser they were brushed aside by Crystal Palace who ran out 5-1 winners. Sheffield United, desperate for points were beaten at the death by a Jamie Vardy goal which gave Leicester the 2-1 victory and leaves the Yorkshire club cut adrift at the bottom having gained just one point
Tottenham were too good for Arsenal, goals from Son and Kane keeping them at the top of the table. Tottenham had more grit and glue than their North London rivals and the defeat leaves Arsenal in 15th place on 13 points and manager Arteta has a lot of work to do with his squad.
Liverpool defeated Wolves 4-0. Wolves, who lost striker Jimenez with a fractured skull last week were easily pushed aside by a powerful Liverpool team. The win means Liverpool are second on goal difference to leaders Tottenham.
